Mission

Our mission is to expose students with identities historically minoritized in STEM and medicine to scientists and physicians who look like them.  Our Melanated and Dedicated physicians and scientists conduct interactive, grade-appropriate science demonstrations and/or experiments with 4-8th graders. 

Goals

Our goals are three-fold, 1) To interact with students in a scientific setting, 2) to use visually striking science demonstrations to stimulate student curiosity, and 3) to use common household items to conduct science experiments in a simple and accessible way. We are striving to foster STEM identities through actualizing that science is not only enjoyable, it is also accessible to all of us and connects directly with our daily lives.
